Welcome Kemo ( A brother for Coleman)

For Christmas Megan , Coleman and Keyleigh really wanted a Dog. Travis and I decided we would let them have one. We looked for a good dog that would go well with the family and that would be good with kids. We saw Kemo on line and went to visit him in Knox, TN. We fell in love with the little guy and decided he was the one we wanted. 2 weeks before Christmas we got approved to adopt him. Megan, Cole and Keyleigh was so excited. Coleman was happy that he had a brother ha ha !! Here he is.

Even Travis likes him.

We welcome Kemo to the family!!

Christmas has come and gone.

From the last time I blogged, we have had a busy time trying to get the house clean and ready for Christmas. I will have to say we made it and everyone got to come over for Christmas.

We started off by painting. I will have to tell everyone if you do new addition to your house have the other person to paint. I think this was the hardest thing we did. But we did get it all done. Here are some pictures.

This was Travis's gift for Christmas. And can you believe we have not got to enjoy it yet. I can not wait until I can just go up there and watch a movie in piece.

This was my Christmas gift. I went and picked it myself. This is all we have in the room right now. The kids should be getting their beds this weekend and they will be able to move in their new room.

Travis's family came over for Christmas eve. The kids got to much like always. But they had a great time.
We went to my sisters house to have Christmas with my side of the family. Below Keyleigh is waiting for everyone to get their gifts. I thought she did a good job waiting.
Megan got what she really wanted from Nana a MP3 player.

The kids had a great Christmas at home. Megan and Cole had a PlayStation 2 system and some games. Keyleigh got a kitchen . All in all we had great one.

Putting up the Tree at Nana's

Every year my mom wants the kids to come and help her decorate the tree.

It was a fun night.

As most of you know my mom had surgery last year, she weighed over 250 lbs she is only 5ft tall. One year later she weighs 145 lbs. I am so proud of her. She has also had hip replacement about a month ago. She is the strongest lady I have ever known.

Update on the House Project

Well we have more stuff done to the house. Here are some of the pictures. Next is Drywall and they will be here tomorrow.

This is the wall that is normally behind the kitchen table.

Yes it look like a big mess. And my house is cold right now, but by the end of the week we will have heat upstairs and drywall everywhere. I think I have been very good dealing with the big mess. But to tell you the truth it is starting to get to me. I am so ready for this to be done. On the flip side it has not taken that long. Chris has done a great job making sure people are on time and doing their job.

Megan's 1st Concert "Hannah Montana Concert"

Back in September I tried to get Megan tickets to Hannah Montana for her birthday. They sold out so quick I could not get tickets. This was the one thing she really wanted to see. I told her that we could not do it maybe next year. And I was not going to pay $145 to 600 per ticket. Well Friday afternoon Jennifer Shearon called and ask me if Megan and I wanted tickets for Nashville Concert. But of course I said yes. She had two more tickets and we paid regular price. What was so amazing was we were right by the stage. And we got great pictures. The plus, last night was Miley's Birthday she turned 15 years old. We sung Happy Birthday to her, she was surprised with a cake and her Dad being there. Here was some of the pictures.

We did not get to seat with Madison and Whitley but we would meet up when they would take a break.

The Jonas Brothers were there too. I tried to get Megan right in front of them and take a pic. But it did not turn out that good.

They sang during the time Hannah changed in to Miley.

Her Birthday Cake. I am sorry so many pictures but this was a great mother Daughter night. Megan had a blast. I surprise her in the best way I think.

At the end Bill Ray came out and sang their song together.

This was a night I will not forget for a long time. And Megan kept on thanking me for getting the tickets. She wanted to make a scrapbook of this. And most of you know me I do like to scrapbook.

Pictures

We went to J. Travis Park in Springfield this past weekend and took some cute pictures of the family. I need to pick one that would be good for a Christmas card.

This is one of my fav. pictures. We took about 200 pictures. We had to keep taking them because Keyleigh had a face for everyone.
Here is one of my sister and her family. And we took some of the kids.

It was so hard trying to get everyone to smile or just sit there.

After pictures we had Chris come by to drop off our new Bath tub for Megan and Cole's Bath room. I ask Chris at first if he would get the kids a nice tub but I did not expect one this nice.

The kids loved it. I think it is better than the one we have in our bath room. I just might be taking baths up stairs for now on.

Why is it so hard to Blog?

We have been so busy with finding out about the baby, to my mom having surgery, starting the framing on the upstairs and having a Wedding shower. It has been one of those bad but good months. My house is turned upside down.

"WE ARE HAVING A BABY GIRL!!!!"

Sorry no ultra sound pictures. I can't find them right now. I will scan later and post it. It is in the pile of mess in my room. Here are some pictures of how bad our house looks

This is not half of it. Most of you know how big my laundry room is. Well right now it is a Christmas village. Our Bed room looks so bad that I do not like to go in there unless I have too. But on the good side we are getting our upstairs done. Here are some pictures of the framing.

Both Megan and Cole are so excited about getting new rooms upstairs. They come home everyday from school and ask what the builders have done next. This week we have Plumbers and the Heating and Air people at the house it has been very noisy, but I am not going to complain. Mr. Chris said it should be done by Christmas. It would be so neat to have Christmas in our new space.. I will try to blog more later. We did go and take some pictures and I think they turned out good. Off for now.

My Prize!

Tonight Travis, me and the kids went to Megan and Cole's Fall Festival! We had a great night. There was this basket I really wanted but we were going to the YMCA so I did not think I could bid on it. We had to be there to win. SO I just went on and we went to the Y. The Y thing was over at 8pm. I thought the auction was over at 8pm but I decided to call to see when it was ending. They told me 8:30, So I told Travis I really wanted this basket. So we headed back. When Travis got there it was at $51.00 I told him to not go over $75.00 because that was my baby sitting money for next week. Well, he fought off the Principal's husband for a last second bid. It was a HUGE scrapbooking basket worth over $150.00 or more. He is the man! Normally, we are not the ones who get the good deals, but this was one I could not pass up. You all know how much I love to scrapbook. Look at all the stuff I got. Hopefully, this will not land Megan & Cole in the Principal's office next week.....(Maria, that one's for you!! HAHA)!!!!

We got it all for just $60.50, Travis out bidded the principal's husband by 50 cents. Some really great stuff.

Crazy couple of months

Ok this one is for you Michelle D. I am so sorry I have not blog in a long time. I just can't get the time to blog here lately. But this is what we have been doing the past couple of months.

Coleman is in Fall ball and I will have to add he is doing a great job. This past summer was bad for him. He could not hit the ball. But in the fall he has really gotten better. So two to three nights a week we are in Goodlettsville for Fall ball. On the other hand we have Megan and you know her she has to cheer. Well she is also cheering for the Goodlettsville football team. We pretty much live at the ball park. Here are some pictures of her.

Megan is walking with her cousin Brennon. Crislynn is on the same team. So we get to hang out with my sister and her family. It has been alot of fun.
Guess who else gets to be a cheerleader. Well Keyleigh thinks she is one but she not. They do let her go on the field every once and a way.

Baby #4 is doing good also. We are 19 wks and I am over the sickness yeah!!! We will find out next Thursday Nov. 1st I will keep you updated. Last but not lease the following pictures are our next big project.

We just got approved for our lone to finish our upstairs. Right now it does not look like much but the next couple of months it will be 2 new bedrooms a bath and bonus room. I can not wait. I will keep you updated on this progress.
