Memorial Day week

Well I have to start off saying we had a long busy week. 1st was Awards day.

My baby girl is going into the 4th grade! I can not believe she is this old. I can remember when people used to tell me to enjoy every moment when they are babies because they grow up so fast. Well I believe it now. She is a beautiful little girl now. And we are so proud of her !
Talking about having a hard day! We had two in one day. The Kindergarten Class of 2007!!! Yes he made it. Coleman is our other one that made it out of Kindergarten. We are so proud of him also. I can't believe we have two in school. I wish we could go back to pre- school again.

Megan and Cole's teachers were great this year. I hope and pray we have good teachers next year.

Ok off to the next thing!
Cole lost another tooth. He pulled it out himself right before his ball game. So we put it in a baggie and told him to put it up until that night. Well we all forgot about it for a couple of days. And once we thought about it. We could not find the tooth. So Cole was upset because he did not get any money for this tooth. Travis and I decided to write the tooth fairy to see if she would understand this time and give Coleman 2nd chance. Cole put this note under his pillow and the next morning he got a note from the tooth fairly saying..... Thanks for your honesty next time be more careful with your tooth. Cole was Happy that he got his money.!!

I told Cole next time don't pull your tooth out right before a ball game. Still to this day we have not found the tooth.

Travis took off for about 4 days for Megan and Cole awards and just to get away from work. Well he did not know that I had a Honey do list. Just joking we had been planning for months this year to make our outside yard look better above is the before picture.

I will have to say I think it looks better now. Thanks Honey!!!!!!

Next we had to leave to go out of town to Wayne County! My mom had her Class Reunion 46 years out of school and they wanted all the children and grand children to come!! Well we got down there and we were the only children that showed up!! I felt sorry for my mom. We left and she stayed! But on the good note we got to say at Paw Paw Kurts and Maw Maw Pats for the night. The kids loved it.
The next day we went to the creek to let the kids put their feet in the water.

The kids had a great time. I got some good pictures also.

Last but not Least!!! My friend Julie called us up and ask if we would like to go out on their boat Memorial Day! So here are the pictures of us on the boat!!

Above is Julie and Chris's Son Eiston

Chris was trying to teach Travis how to surf! This is a new thing they do on the lake lets see how Travis does!!!

As you can see Travis did it. Now next time he will learn how to let go of the rope. He will need a little more practice. But here is some of his wipe out!!!!

All and all we had a great week. Thanks again Julie and Chris for inviting us!!!

A night of fishing

Ok I know I have not blogged in a while. Summer is coming and I am running out of time for myself. But we did go outdoors fishing the other night to have a some family time.

Ok I did not say we went fishing. Travis tied a weight to the end of every one's pole. So they could learn the right way to throw it.Even Keyleigh got into it. She thought she was so big being like her brother and sister.

But she would get everything all messed up and Daddy had to get the knot out of the line.

Megan and Cole got a great idea. One of them would fish and the other would be the fish. Well look what they caught.

Megan caught a 37 lb Big mouth Coleman Fish. I think he is a keeper.

And Coleman caught a 62 lb big mouth Megan!!

Well you know Keyleigh she had to beat them all !!!!

It was a fight but she got him in. She won!!! She caught over 100 lb Red Head big mouth DADDY!

I know, we are crazy! But is was a lot of fun. It was a good family night! And we kept all the fish! They were good keepers!!!
