Mowing is not for ME!!!

On Sunday, I was in the mood to wash the SUV. I am really trying to keep this car in better shape than I did with the old one. After I washed the car I thought I would help Travis by mowing the yard for him. Well I set the fire alarm off. I guess I do not know how to start a lawn mower. (I think this was my sign to not mow the yard). He came out and helped me start the mower and I told him to do the trim work and we could get it done faster. I thought I was doing a good job, until I felt pain on my leg. I looked down and I was surrounded by Hornets/yellow jackets or bees I was not sure. I jumped off the mower and ran in side slapping my legs. By the time I got to the house Travis was there. We went inside and he counted 28 stings. I guess I ran over a nest or made them very mad. I never saw them until they were right on top of me. I do not think I will ever mow again. Travis had to finished the yard and he killed some of the them. The picture below shows some of my stings.

War Eagles!!!!!

What a day we had yesterday! First of all the following pictures are Addie in her War Eagle outfit. Thanks Michelle D. for letting us borrow it. I can not believe it fits so well.
Ok about yesterday. We started off going to get Megan from school, because she and Addie had Doctor appointments. I dropped off Coleman and Keyleigh at my moms. We headed to the doctor. All was good Addie got 4 shots and Megan just had to get the Flu Mist in her nose.

Addie weighed 18 lbs 10ozs. Man she is getting big, I just knew she was going to be over 20 lbs. After the doctors, Coleman had a game so we head to the park. Travis was going to meet me there. I had to get gas because I was running low. The BP was a mad house and we got gas for $3.99. I could not believe how crazy people were about bringing extra gas bins to fill up. This one man I know spent about $300 in gas filling his truck and about 10 red bins up. As we were waiting Megan yells at me to tell me she was having a nose bleed. I turned around and it was not a little one but a major one. I gave her all the wipes I could find. Ok remember, I just got a new truck. And her nose bleed was so bad it bleed through all of what I had. I turned to the diaper bag and gave her Addie only outfit. During this whole process I am trying to get gas with crazy people all around me. And I was on the phone with Travis (which was coming to help me out).

Travis gets there and gets me some more napkins and wipes. I get my gas and I get on the phone with the doctors office to see if this is a side effects from the flu mist. We get her nose to stop after a huge blood clot comes out. I am telling you I have never seen anything like this. But the doctor said she would be fine. So we go on to the park and start watching Cole's game.

Next thing I know Addie is getting fussy. I pick her up and notice she has a stinky. (Remember I let Megan have her only outfit.) I look down and she has poop all over me and on my hands, down her leg everywhere. I have NO wipes and I am at a ball park. I yell at Megan to see if the concession stand has napkins and we go to the bathroom. After all the drama I did get Addie cleaned up and we made it through the ball game. Travis clean my truck up and got all the blood out of it and wash all the clothes last night. He is such a good hubby and Daddy. I will be prepared next time. I will have 2 extra outfits and have plenty of wipes on hand if this happens again. I hope it never does. Well this was my crazy day.!!!!!

Something about Eddie Bauer!

Just wanted to let everyone know I have a new ride!!! I am so excited our old truck was getting 10 miles to the gal. It was killing us in gas. So we got a 2005 Eddie Bauer Explorer which gets alot better gas miles. The kids love it because they have a DVD player to watch movies. I will have to say I really like it. Thanks Rob (Travis's bother) for helping us find a good deal.

Cole's Fall ball

Cole is doing fall ball also. Here are some of his pictures. Fall ball for Cole help him get better before the spring ball. This year I see a BIG difference in him hitting and catching.

Most of you know me and how I am about my kids, I am a clean freak. Well some of you would be proud of me because I do let Keyleigh get dirty at the park. I did try to keep her out of the dirt last year but she is such a tomboy I gave up!!! Every night we have to clean finger nails and scrub up to get all nice and clean for school the next day.

This was after the game. They won I think 10-3. They had a good game.
Addie enjoys watching her bother play also. I do not know what we are going to do when they are all playing. Travis said that we will just have to pull the camper to the park and stay there all summer.

Megan 1st Game Ball!!

I hope you like my new look!!! I love fall and I think it is starting to look like it outside. The nights are getting cooler. Not so hot at the ball park. Megan had another game Monday night. I was off and we headed to the ball park. Addie below was having a good time watching her sister play ball.

Megan played outfield and I will have to say she did look bored.

This was a long inning. But you would not believe it, right after Travis quit taking pictures and was walking back over to us. Megan stopped a ball. I was so proud of her. She also got her first hit and got on base for the 1st time. She did a great job!!!

Her coach recognized her after the game and gave her a GAME BALL! The whole team was proud of her. Way to go Megan.

Soft ball time!!

Megan decided this year she wanted to try something new. She has always done cheer leading and wanted to see if there was something else she might like. Last Monday night was her 1st Softball game. For a 10 year old that has never picked up a bat and ball, She is doing very well. They won their ball game 12 to 0. And the most important part is that she is enjoying herself. She did say she is not sure if she will play in the spring. But we will see how this fall season goes. Here are some pictures.

Last night I was trying to wake Addie up to feed her some cereal, so she would sleep through the night. She was so sleepy it did not work. Travis was holding her and I remembered, When Keyleigh was about that same size he held her the same way. I took some pictures to compare how much I think they look alike.
