Mission Trip to Canada

As most of you know Travis and I have decided to go on a mission trip to Canada. I am so excited about it. I really feel this is something God is calling us to do. We have to raise $2300.00 to be able to go on this trip. This morning I got a e-mail from the person that is over seeing the trip. We have to have $1700.00 by the middle of May, I started to let fear enter my mind saying we are not going to do this, there is no way we are going to have the money by then. I really want to go on this trip but how in the world are we going to get this kind of money. So I decided to start praying, and I open the bible and read a bunch of different verses. I am a person that has to be in control and I don't like giving anything up. But by reading this morning God is telling me to Expect the Extraordinary. When Jesus calls us to follow him, he is looking for people who are willing to let go of the ordinary and look for the extraordinary. He is not looking for the smartest or the strongest he is just looking for someone to trust in him and do what his ask. So mainly he is telling to quit worry about it. He will take care of it. Please pray for us while we are going through this process.

Camping last week

This past weekend we went to Defeated Creek camping with couples from our small group. This is one of our favorite places to camp. It was a very relaxing weekend. The following pic's are of the kids in the dark wrestling with Austin.
